I'm a postdoc in the MAVERICK team at INRIA, Rhone-Alpes, Grenoble. I completed a 13 month long postdoctorate at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, 2012 - 2013 before joining here. I earned my PhD degree from University of Zurich (2007-2011) where I defended my thesis on "Level-of-Detail and Parallel Solutions in Computer Graphics". Prior to that, I did my dual degree (B.Tech + M.Tech) course in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, 2000 - 2005. The in-between years before joining PhD were spent in the industry (Oracle and Webaroo).
Research themes
My work deals with computer graphics and my research interests are in the field of
-- GPU-based stuff
-- Simplification and rendering of huge datasets (points, meshes)
-- Fluid simulation
-- Parallel rendering
-- Geometric modeling
I am always open to experimenting on topics that are new to me.
